A Custodian wants to enter the lab.

What are your responsibilities to a custodian removing waste and cleaning your laboratory?

At the end of your work day be sure to place normal and biomedical waste containers in the hallway. Making sure they have been bagged and marked correctly.
Tell the custodian to stay out in the hall and that you will hand the refuse to him/her through the door.
Allow the custodian to enter the lab. Tell the custodian to be careful where they walk and not to touch anything.
Place normal and biomedical waste containers to be removed in plain sight, away from chemical /radiological waste containers and other laboratory hazards. Warn the custodian of any special lab hazard.
Escort the custodian through the lab as he/she collects the trash and performs clean up duties.
