Purchasing Skills Training Four-Day In-depth Session

To enhance institutional procurement capability and perspective, attendees will learn essential principles of procurement and develop expertise in this area. This program is highly recommended for faculty and staff who have a significant role in buying goods and services for Yale business purposes. This session is aimed at those who prefer a deeper dive into the subject matter as well as the opportunity to apply what they have learned through an in-class project. This is a useful class for individuals or small work teams who are responsible for purchasing a specific commodity such as facilities needs, computer hardware/software, animal resources, etc. Some purchasing experience/background is helpful.
