Access 2003: Level 1

Use Microsoft Access to learn data management basics. This course provides the essentials needed to begin using this powerful, yet flexible, software package. Learn creating a simple database using tables, lookup fields, and data entry forms. This is a two day class, unless stated otherwise below.

Participants should have completed Windows: Level 1, or have comparable experience with Windows. Knowledge of Excel: Level 2 and Database Design topics are suggested but not required.

Topics include:
• Introducing relationships
• Creating a database
• Locating and sorting records
• Creating and modifying tables
• Querying a database
• Using lookup queries
• Entering and editing data
• Introducing forms using the wizard
• Introducing reports using the wizard



PRE-REQUISITES:
Windows Level 1 (2000 or XP) or have comparable experience with Windows
