Oracle - Oracle is a system of databases, which store the university's information. The system is comprised of modules such as Purchasing/Accounts Payable, Human Resources/Payroll, Labor Distribution and the Journal Staging Area. Users enter data into these modules, which require training. Information from these applications are then loaded into the Oracle Grants Management, General Ledger and Data Warehouse Oracle databases.

Users are trained to extract information from the Data Warehouse with the use of the university's reporting tools. Other Oracle databases on campus contain student information (Banner, GSPS), medical school clinical information (BMS) and development data (Bert).

  • Orbitz For Business Travel Clinic Orbitz for Business is Yale's preferred way to purchase, air, hotel and car rental reservations online.
  • Orbitz for Travel Arrangers This class is for Orbitz for Business travel arrangers who want hands-on experience booking travel for others. The class will cover booking for non-Yale employees, in-bound travel, multiple travelers, and working with OFB to arrange for conference/event travel.
